Admissions Overview

Congratulations! You've made it to the admissions section of our website...that means you're curious to learn more about St. Francis High School. St. Francis could be the perfect high school for you or your child, and our Director of Admissions, Annie Murphy, is here to answer all your questions.

Are our students really this enthusiastic about their high school? Is what happens in the classroom here different than classrooms at other schools? Is there actually a high school in Louisville with small class sizes, stellar faculty, a fun school culture, inclusive athletic and drama programs, and outstanding college preparation? YES! And you've found it.

So, where to go from here? Don't take our word for it! Call or email Annie today to get an information packet, schedule a tour, or schedule a shadow day. Her direct line is (502) 736-1009 and her email is murphy@stfrancishighschool.com. (She LOVES talking to people about the school.)

You can get started on the application process right away. Keep in mind that the application deadline for the 2011-12 school year is January 15, 2011. Thinking about making a transfer this school year? We might be able to help with that too.

Application Requirements

A detailed list of application requirements and necessary application forms is located in the "Application Process" section of the website.

Mid-Year Transfer Applications: The school accepts applications from qualified transfer students during the school year and prefers to admit these students at the beginning of a grading period. Applications received for mid-year transfer and applications received after the January 15 deadline will be evaluated on a rolling basis provided that class openings are available.

Scholarship/Financial Aid Applications: Applications for admission are evaluated solely on the merits of the applicant with no regard for the family’s financial situation. Please see the "Affording St. Francis" page for more information on scholarships and financial aid. Financial aid applications are due February 15.
