St. Francis is in the heart of downtown Louisville nestled among area landmarks including the main branch of the Louisville Free Public Library, the Brown Theatre and Brown Hotel, Theater Square, and numerous restaurants.
Although the National Historic Landmark St. Francis Building has a Broadway address, the school entrance is on Third Street. The school parking garage is also on Third, just before (north of) the school entrance. Visitors are welcome to park on the second floor of the garage, which can be accessed by going up the brick ramp to on the right of the garage entrance. Metered street parking is also available.
Student Transportation to SFHS
Students get to St. Francis a number of ways. Many take TARC, as we are located along many major TARC routes. Some parents drive their children; some students drive themselves. We encourage students and parents to carpool. Contact the Admissions Office for help with TARC routes or setting up carpools
